Monitoring the context state
Your application can monitor changes to the context state by using the functions provided by the BlackBerry Platform Services (BPS) library.
The header file mmrenderer.h in the BPS library provides functions that allow your application to monitor the multimedia renderer's state changes. For example, it provides functions that allow the application to:
- determine the context state (playing, stopped, idle)
- retrieve the current play speed and position
- get information about errors and warnings
For details about these functions, refer to the BlackBerry Platform Services documentation.
