Uninstall the Native SDK

To properly remove the Native SDK from your machine, you must use the SDK uninstaller to properly remove all of the installed files.

Uninstalling the Native SDK won't remove any files or folders that you created after you installed the Native SDK. Also, you must have administrator privileges in order to successfully uninstall the SDK.

To uninstall the Native SDK:

  1. Close all applications associated with the Native SDK.
  2. Locate and run the uninstall program:
    • On Windows systems, click Start > BlackBerry Native SDK for Tablet OS > Uninstall BlackBerry Native SDK for Tablet OS 2.1.0 to run the uninstall application.
    • On Linux systems, navigate to the location where you installed the Native SDK, change directory to /bbndk-2.1.0/install, and run the uninstall application.
    • On Mac systems, navigate to /Developer/SDKs/bbndk-2.1.0/install, and run the uninstall application.
  3. Select Uninstall, and then click Next.
  4. Read the important information about requiring administrator privileges before continuing, and then click OK.
  5. Click Next to start uninstalling and Done when the process is complete.
