screen_create_session_type()

Create a session of specified type to be associated with a context.

Synopsis:

#include <screen/screen.h>
 
int screen_create_session_type(screen_session_t *pssn,
                               screen_context_t ctx,
                               int type)

Since:

BlackBerry 10.3.0

Arguments:

pssn

A pointer to a screen_session_t where a handle for the new input session can be stored.

ctx

The handle of the context in which the input session is to be created.

type

The type of input session to be created.

Library:

libscreen (For the qcc command, use the -l screen option to link against this library)

Description:

Function Type: Immediate Execution

The screen_create_session_type() function creates an input session object to be associated with a context. Applications must use screen_destroy_session() when a session is no longer active.

Returns:

0 if the input session was created, or -1 if an error occurred (errno is set).
