push_service_create_session()

Creates a session between the application and the PNS Agent.

Synopsis:

int push_service_create_session(push_service_t *ps, push_callback_t cb_func)

Since:

Arguments:

ps

A pointer to the push_service_t structure used to create the request.

cb_func

Callback in response to push_service_create_session(). This callback contains a status_code parameter to specify the failure condition. This callback function cannot be NULL.

Description:

Creating a session sets up inter-process communication between the application and the PNS Agent. This must be called every time the application is launched.

Returns:

PUSH_SUCCESS upon success, PUSH_FAILURE with errno set otherwise.
