hu_MD2Begin()

Creates an MD2 context object.

Synopsis:

int hu_MD2Begin(size_t digestLen, sb_YieldCtx yieldCtx, sb_Context *hashContext, sb_GlobalCtx sbCtx)

Since:

Arguments:

digestLen

The length (in bytes) of an MD2 digest. The only acceptable value is SB_MD2_DIGEST_LEN.

yieldCtx

Ignored.

hashContext

The MD2 context object pointer.

sbCtx

A global context.

Library:

libhuapi (For the qcc command, use the -l huapi option to link against this library)

Description:

It is recommended to avoid using MD2 due to the security risks. Please see User Guide for further information.

Yielding is not supported for message digest operations.

Returns:

SB_ERR_BAD_DIGEST_LEN

digestLen is an invalid digest length.

SB_ERR_NULL_CONTEXT_PTR

The hashContext object pointer is NULL.

SB_FAIL_ALLOC

Memory allocation failure.

SB_SUCCESS

Success.
