camera_set_scene_mode()

Change the scene mode on the camera.

Synopsis:

#include <camera/camera_api.h>

camera_error_t camera_set_scene_mode(camera_handle_t handle,
                                     camera_scenemode_t mode)

Since:

BlackBerry 10.0.0

Arguments:

handle

The handle returned by a call to the camera_open() function.

mode

The desired scene mode to set the camera to.

Library:

libcamapi (For the qcc command, use the -l camapi option to link against this library)

Description:

You specify the scene mode to set using the mode argument. The viewfinder must be running before you set the scene mode. Use camera_get_scene_modes() to determine the scene modes that are supported by the current camera.

Some scene modes override previously configured settings. For example, if you set the scene mode to CAMERA_SCENE_NIGHT, it may override the programmed frame rate in order to achieve better low-light performance.

The scene mode is reset to default when the viewfinder is stopped.

Returns:

CAMERA_EOK when the function successfully completes, otherwise another camera_error_t value that provides the reason that the call failed.
