camera_get_videolight_level()

Retrieve the video light power level.

Synopsis:

#include <camera/camera_api.h>

camera_error_t camera_get_videolight_level(camera_handle_t handle,
                                           uint32_t *percent)

Since:

BlackBerry 10.0.0

Arguments:

handle

The handle returned by a call to the camera_open() function.

percent

A pointer to the returned percentage value.

Library:

libcamapi (For the qcc command, use the -l camapi option to link against this library)

Description:

Use this function to get the available video light power level, as a percentage of the maximum. A non-zero level indicates that there is sufficient power available to turn on the video light (see camera_config_videolight()). You can listen for CAMERA_STATUS_VIDEOLIGHT_LEVEL_CHANGE status events to know when the video light power level has changed from its previous value.

Returns:

CAMERA_EOK when the function successfully completes, otherwise another camera_error_t value that provides the reason that the call failed.
