notification_message_set_invocation_action()

Set the action to be sent to the launch target.

Synopsis:

#include <bps/notification.h>

BPS_API int notification_message_set_invocation_action(notification_message_t *message,
                                                       const char *action)

Since:

BlackBerry 10.0.0

Arguments:

message

A pointer to the notification_message_t structure whose action you want to set.

action

An action registered with the invocation framework, such as 'bb.action.PUSH'.

Library:

libbps (For the qcc command, use the -l bps option to link against this library)

Description:

The notification_message_set_invocation_action() function sets the action member of a notification_message_t structure, which supplies information to the target application about how to react. The action should be one that is registered with the invocation framework.

The action member is used only with the notification_notify() function when an invocation target is set with the notification_message_set_invocation_target() function.

If you don't call this function, the target isn't sent an action via the invocation framework.

Returns:

BPS_SUCCESS upon success, BPS_FAILURE with errno set otherwise.
