Syntax:

<rim:property var=["exts" | "uris"] value="string" />

Description:

The <rim:property> element defines the types of URIs or files that the app supports. The URI schemes or file extensions that you specify are used to register an unbound invocation.

You can define the following attributes for this element:

Attribute Description
var

Required. Specifies how the app is invoked. The invocation framework supports invocation by URI or by file extensions. The value can be uris or exts.

value

Required. Specifies the property values to use when registering an unbound invocation.

  • If var="uris", then value must specify one or more URI schemes (for example, http://, https://, ftp://, or others).
  • If var="exts", then value must specify one or more file extensions (for example, html, htm, php, jsp, or others).

To specify multiple URI scheme or file extension values, separate each value with a comma. For example, value="html,htm,pdf".
