Syntax

<name>string</name>

Description

The <name> element specifies a human-readable name for a BlackBerry WebWorks app that you can use, for example, in an app menu.

If you do not specify a <name> element, the app is not valid. The name must be 25 characters or fewer.

You can also specify a name by using the blackberry.app.name property that is provided in the BlackBerry WebWorks API.

This attribute is optional.

its:dir

The its:dir attribute specifies the directionality of the language. For example, its:dir="rtl" specifies a language that is written from right to left. For more information about this attribute, visit www.w3.org/TR/html401/struct/dirlang.html.

You can use this attribute for localization.
