license element

Syntax

<license>string</license>

Description

The <license> element specifies the end user license agreement or a copyright statement for a BlackBerry WebWorks app. This element is optional. If you specify this element, you can implement a feature to prompt BlackBerry device users to accept or decline the license agreement when they run the app for the first time. After users agree to the license agreement, the prompt does not appear when they run the app again.

The contents of the license agreement are also available on the About screen in the app.
