Buffers

Buffers are important objects when using the screen APIs. In fact, it is not possible to do any kind of graphic development without using a function that requires a buffer argument. Nevertheless, aside from screen_get_buffer_property(), the functions described in this section are seldom used in applications. Creating a buffer handle, setting buffer properties, attaching buffers to a window or pixmap, and destroying buffer handles should be used only in drivers and system services.
