Disable Development Mode on your device
Development Mode allows you to remotely install and launch an application on BlackBerry PlayBook tablets.
If you don't intend to do development activities, we strongly recommend that you turn off Development Mode for increased security.
To disable development mode:
On your device, in the top-right corner, tap the Settings icon.
Select Security in the left navigator.
Select Development Mode from the list of security options.
Next to the Use Development Mode label, set the Development Mode setting to OFF.
After you disable Development Mode on your device, you no longer see the Development Mode icon.
