Smart card reader states (sc_reader_state.h)

Reader state instances store state information about individual smart card readers.

Information stored in a reader state instance includes:

  • the name of a smart card reader
  • the current state, which is the state of a smart card reader at the present time
  • the event state, which is the state of a smart card reader in response to some event

Changes in the reader state are identified by comparing the event state and the current state values. If these values are different, then a change has occurred and the updated reader state is reflected in the event state value.
