bt_rdev_get_device_class()

Retrieve the class of device (CoD) information of the remote Bluetooth-enabled device.

Synopsis:

int bt_rdev_get_device_class(const bt_remote_device_t *remote_device, const bt_deviceclassmode_t class_type)

Since:

Arguments:

remote_device

A pointer to a remote device structure.

class_type

The type of CoD information that is being requested.

Library:

libbtapi (For the qcc command, use the -l btapi option to link against this library)

Description:

This function retrieves one of a number of class of device data items (see bt_deviceclassmode_t).

Returns:

The device class value is returned upon success, -1 with the errno set otherwise. Possible errno values include:
  • EINVAL: An invalid parameter was passed in.
