bt_rdev_get_address()

Retrieve the address of the remote device.

Synopsis:

int bt_rdev_get_address(const bt_remote_device_t *remote_device, char *bt_addr)

Since:

BlackBerry 10.0.0

Arguments:

remote_device

A pointer to a remote device structure.

bt_addr

A pointer to an 18-byte buffer where the Bluetooth MAC address is written in a NULL-terminated printable format. For example, 00:00:00:00:00:00\0.

Library:

libbtapi (For the qcc command, use the -l btapi option to link against this library)

Description:

Requests the Bluetooth MAC address of the remote device.

Returns:

0 is returned upon success, -1 with the errno set otherwise. Possible errno values include:
  • EINVAL: An invalid parameter was passed in.
