<transparent>

(Deprecated) Remove this attribute.

Parent elements:

<initialWindow>

Child elements:

None.

Description:

The <transparent> element specifies whether the initial application window is alpha-blended with the background on the device. The use of transparency can slow down rendering and consume more system memory. The transparency setting cannot be changed at runtime and is only valid when the systemChrome attribute is set to a value of none.

Content:

A CDATA value representing whether to use transparency or not. You can use the following values:
true
The application supports alpha blending.
false
The application does not support alpha blending.

Attributes:

None.

Example:

 <initialWindow>
     <aspectRatio>landscape</aspectRatio>
     <autoOrients>false</autoOrients>
     <systemChrome>none</systemChrome>
     <transparent>true</transparent>
 </initialWindow>
