Register for code signing keys

To sign your applications and create debug tokens, you must first register with Research In Motion to receive your code signing keys. If you have already used the code signing keys to register another BlackBerry PlayBook tablet or a BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha device on your computer, you do not need to register a new set of code signing keys.
  1. In Microsoft Visual Studio, on the BlackBerry, select Signing.
  2. In the RIM Signing Authority section, click Register.
  3. In theRegistration window, complete the RDK CSJ Path field and the PBDT CSJ Path field by browsing to the location of the CSJ files.
  4. In the CSJ Pin field, enter the PIN that you used to fill out the code signing keys request form.
  5. Choose a password in the CSK Password field. This is the keystore password that you use to create a developer certificate.
