Package and run the sample application
Now that you've created the sample application, you need to package and run it.
The native sample application already has its package contents and bar-descriptor.xml defined.
The bar-descriptor.xml is the BlackBerry 10 OS application descriptor file. This file specifies the paramaters for identifying, installing, and launching native applications on the BlackBerry 10 OS. Before packaging, to set the Author and Author ID from the debug token, click the General tab, and in the Author Information section, click Set from Debug Token.
Package the sample application:
In the Project Explorer view, expand the Binaries folder and right-click the sample's executable file.
Select, and then select the build configuration to use for your application.Depending on where you intend to launch the sample application, use the Build configuration dropdown to toggle between the target devices.
Select the target you created from the target list.Ensure that the target shows as connected. If it reads Not Connected, from the Target Navigator, right-click on the device and choose Connect.
Click Apply, and then click Run.Your application will be packaged and launched on the device you specified.
