If you are creating a BlackBerry WebWorks application, in addition to the full suite of APIs listed above, you can also use the BlackBerry WebWorks APIs. The BlackBerry WebWorks APIs allow you to access core functionality of the BlackBerry platform, such as PIM, Push, and Phone funcitonality, as well as other BlackBerry services such as the BBM social platform, allowing you to create apps that are tightly integrated with the platform.
