Geolocation

The Geolocation object is used by scripts to programmatically determine the location information associated with the hosting device.

Only notes about the BlackBerry WebWorks implementation of the standard HTML5 Geolocation API are provided here. For a complete description, see the Geolocation API Specification on the w3 website.

The standard HTML5 version of the Geolocation API requires less overhead than the Cordova Geolocation API. You should use the Cordova version only if you are doing cross-platform development for platforms that do not have built-in geolocation support.
