Elements in config.xml

The following table describes each element that can be used in a config.xml file for BlackBerry OS 5.0 - 7.1. It also specifies how many times you can use each element in your config.xml file.

<rim:loadingScreen> Specifies properties for the application's loading screen. zero or one
<rim:transitionEffect> Specifies transitions between screens. Must be a child of <rim:loadingScreen>. zero or one
<rim:navigation> Specifies cursor navigation behavior for the application. zero or one
<rim:orientation> Specifies screen orientation. zero or one
<widget> Provides a container for all other elements. one
