Providing feedback and activity status
Many times your application may require time to process some information, fetch and load data, or some other similar activity that requires you to provide feedback to your user that something is indeed happening and your application is not just at a standstill. You can provide this feedback through the use of visual elements such as progress bars and activity indicators. The qnx.fuse.ui.progress package provides some classes that you can implement to incorporate this type of visual feedback.
|ActivityIndicator||A basic animation that can be enabled and disabled to indicate to the user that an activity is in progress.|
|ProgressBar||A horizontal track that takes a percentage value as a progress property and fills the track accordingly. This can easily be used for situations such as processes run by your application as well as for displaying user progress towards a task.|
|PercentageBar||A horizontal track that takes a percentage value as a progress property and fills the track accordingly. You can also set the content of a label within the bar to display a percentage value or any string that you define (for example: "loading...")|
