Install the BlackBerry 10 SDK for Adobe AIR

Before you begin:

Download and install the following:

• Adobe AIR SDK 3.1
• Adobe Flex SDK 4.5 or later
• Download the BlackBerry 10 SDK for Adobe AIR
• Download and install VMware Player for Windows or VMware Fusion for Mac.
• Download the BlackBerry 10 Simulator

1. In the folder where you downloaded the BlackBerry 10 SDK for Adobe AIR, open the BlackBerry-AIR-SDK-Installer-<version>-<Operating System>-<timestamp> file.
2. On the Introduction screen, click Next.
3. Read the license agreement. If you agree, click Next.
4. On the Integration choice screen, do not select either checkbox. Click Next.
5. On the Choose Install Folder screen, provide the location of the parent folder where you want to install the BlackBerry 10 SDK for Adobe AIR. A new folder called blackberry-tablet-sdk-<version> is created at this location. Click Next.

   Mac	/Applications/SDKs/Research In Motion/

6. On the Choose Adobe AIR SDK Install Folder screen, specify the location of the Adobe AIR SDK installation, or the Adobe Flex SDK installation. Click Next.
7. On the Pre-Installation Summary screen, verify your installation settings. Click Install.
8. Click Done.
