Install the BlackBerry 10 SDK for Adobe AIR
Before you Begin:
- Download and install Powerflasher FDT.
- Download and install Adobe AIR SDK 3.1
- Download and install Adobe Flex SDK 4.5 or later.
- Download the BlackBerry 10 SDK for Adobe AIR
- Download and install VMware Player for Windows or VMware Fusion for Mac.
- Download the BlackBerry 10 Simulator
- Log in to an account that has administrator permissions.
- In the folder where you downloaded the BlackBerry 10 SDK for Adobe AIR, open the BlackBerry-AIR-SDK-Installer-<version>-<Operating System>-<timestamp> file.
- On the Introduction screen, click Next.
- Read the license agreement. If you agree, click Next.
- On the Integration choice screen, select the Powerflasher FDT checkbox. Click Next.
- On the Choose FDT Install Folder screen, specify the parent folder where you installed FDT.
- On the Choose Install
Folder screen, specify the location of the parent folder where
you want to install the BlackBerry 10 SDK for Adobe
AIR. A new folder called blackberry-tablet-sdk-<version>
is created at this location. Click
Next.
Operating System Default location of the BlackBerry 10 SDK for Adobe AIR Windows (x64) \Program Files (x86))\Research In Motion\ Windows (x86) \Program Files\Research In Motion\ Mac /Applications/SDKs/Research In Motion/ - On the Choose Adobe AIR SDK Install Folder screen, specify the location of the Adobe AIR SDK installation, or the Adobe Flex SDK installation. Click Next.
- On the Pre-Installation Summary screen, verify your installation settings. Click Install.
- On the Install complete screen, click Done.
