Back up code signing keys

To back up your code signing keys and developer certificate as a ZIP file:

  1. On the Window menu, click Preferences.
  2. On the Preferences screen, in the preferences list, expand FDT > Mobile > BlackBerry.
  3. Click Signing.
  4. In the Backup and Restore section, click Backup.
  5. On the Save As screen, specify a name and location for your backup file. Click Save.

Restore code signing keys

Restoring your signing keys and developer certificate from a ZIP file will replace any existing signing registration information on the computer. If you do not want to lose this information back it up before you continue.

To restore your code signing keys and developer certificate from a ZIP file:

  1. On the Window menu, click Preferences.
  2. On the Preferences screen, in the preferences list, expand FDT > Mobile > BlackBerry.
  3. Click Signing.
  4. In the Backup and Restore section, click Restore.
  5. On the Open screen, specify a name and location for your backup file. Click Open.
